As “Authentic” as it can be…Lucknowee…Restaurant Review!

One of the hidden gems of Dubai…Lucknowee restaurant at Al Karama is a small cozy family restaurant with a Royal themed ambiance. They have an interactive open kitchen concept which is basically the tandoor section of the kitchen.

Thinking of dining at “Lucknowee” consider trying everything on the menu. The restaurant serves few dishes but the best ones from Lucknow. There is “Tunday Kebab” which is basically the best kebabs in Dubai. Most dishes have their accompaniments which would make your ordering simpler. Limited but the best is on their menu and every bit of it is worth trying. Each preparation brings out its own distinct flavors and appearance.

Most importantly, don’t bother ordering a coke or any other aerated drink with your food….try their huge glass of “Lassi”. That’s what would complete your meal for sure.

For desserts (if your stomach permits) try out anything on their menu and I am sure you would want more. However, for me, my favorite is hot and delicious freshly prepared Jalebi served with a small bowl of delicious Rabri.

Suggestion- Please don’t hesitate to ask for Rabri replenishment, they would be happy to bring some more for you!

All in all, Lucknowee is truly a hidden gem and justifies the true legacy and taste of the Nawabs. A must-visit with family!!!
