Look Radiant this Festive Season….Which Foundation suits you best?!

Why do we need a Foundation? Does Foundation harm an acne-prone or a skin with blemishes? Yes, if you wear it all the time..you may harm your skin but a foundation to work or for an evening event or for a few hours is not a bad option. What you need is to explore the one that suits you best!

I have been there and tried everything that is there to provide skin health but my point here is that does foundation help to hide flaws and is it successful?

Yes, I came across two such brands / Foundations that really made me change my mind. There are various descriptions, explanations, and reviews for these foundations but let me share my hands-on experience since I end up researching quite a bit before splurging on makeup.

Estee Lauder, Double wear Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10 Foundation– My shade is Rattan which is with a warm undertone. It’s not too dark but a little golden-ish. Now, as per the research, this foundation is supposed to give you full coverage which for me did not show much. Additionally, since I have combination skin, I did experience flakiness. Super light-weight and gives a matte finish. I would not recommend this for people with combination skin but if you can manage it well…go for it!! Cost-effective foundation and is easily available. A great day wear foundation!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation– A super satin finish foundation that blends in perfectly. You could also search for Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. They both are almost the same but if I have to choose between the two; a little sheer doesn’t harm anyone. My Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is a blessing since I feel it’s made for combination to dry skin, the shade I wear is Punjab. This warm Foundation easily gives me full coverage without any flakiness. However, you need a setting spray/ setting powder post-application to avoid oily looking skin. The glow is beautiful and you would surely look radiant. I picked up my Foundation from Sephora…Hurry!! Slightly expensive foundation and you may find more foundations at the same price but I believe this foundation gives a more natural-looking finish than the others. An additional plus point– there is an option of pump too for easy and controlled use.
