“Nyx”- The Greek Goddess of Night… NYX Professional Makeup!
My recent collection of lip colors has been dominated by NYX Professional makeup. I picked up a single nude shade but could not resist buying a few more vibrant colors which can be used either as a lip color or as an eye shadow for a glittery evening (as per the sales associate at their store).
A little about NYX…This is an American company that is a subsidiary of L’Oreal and is named after the Greek Goddess of Night. As the name states, they have beautiful shades available with a wide range of vegan-friendly products. And the best thing is that NYX professional makeup is cruelty-free and very much authorized by PETA.
Easy glide-on makeup whether on lips or eyes. It surely does not drip or smudge that easily. The glossy texture is slightly more glittery glossy with the limited color effect so a lip color is a must with the gloss (NYX Lingerie).
The Liquid Suede lip colors are the best ever..they glide on smoothly and have a creamy matte effect after about 20-30 seconds. Dont worry your lips wont look dry or chapped. If you need a deeper shade, wait for it to dry a bit since the color shows eventually. There are numerous shades available from nude colors to super bright blingy colors.
Now you may think why would one use a lip color for the eye, but believe me these products are so skin-friendly that it would make your lip or eye look glamorous without any discomfort. The previous section has NYX Lingerie (Glitters) wherein the picture also has an eye tint. The eye tint dries immediately after application. A first few times it may feel dry but you will get used to it.
Who doesn’t like glitters?? There is a fairly new section of “Diamond Drip Lip Gloss”…..These are super reflective, extremely shiny, and as per me, does give a slight plumping effect. If you need an evening or even a day of sparkle, this is meant for you! Also, there are glitters available that are easy to apply and you add shine everywhere. There are glitter primers also available incase needed.
