An Oasis in the Desert…The Farm, Al Barari

Well, not really a farm but yes a densely green part of UAE is the Al Barari area. The restaurant “The Farm” is designed beautifully with green pathways and bridges connecting a man-made water body to the green part of the restaurant.

Ambience

Sections are designated within the restaurant. They have both indoor and outdoor areas, but my suggestion…the outdoor is better. Not the best decision to visit the restaurant in the summer months, however, it is really beautiful in winters and early summer.

Food

They serve global cuisine, have a lot of variety that I am sure the menu is designed for guests with all preferences and tastes. As for me, I was served the very special and very appetizing Fish and Chips and my husband relished the Pepperoni Pizza served with unique accompaniments which you must visit and try (need to leave some details for surprises)…

Beverages

Well…like many restaurants they have an elaborate variety of beverages (mocktails and aerated beverages) however, some of their smoothies are worth trying. I chose a simple fresh juice but my husband opted for a mixed berries smoothie….and believe me I had my eye on his beverage all throughout. It was deliciously filled with numerous flavors and really refreshing.

“The Farm” is a great place for an outdoor weekend lunch or if you are looking to celebrate an occasion. Must try and must-visit for the food and its greenery!
